My friend, Paul Cianciolo, W1VLF, created this masterpiece.  This is the "PILE."  Portable Induction Launching Equipment.  To date, the best time of flight of the golf ball is 9.5 seconds. Greater range testing is pending access to a larger firing range.  Unfortunately the original full article was lost. Paul also operates Rescue Electronics Surplus.  Check out his site for hard to find parts!
